Supervision Overview

CPHT believes that ‘Supervision’ is essential both in training and in practice. It is an obligation required by all the main associations, who agree that supervision is a highly beneficial tool to support and develop oneself as a therapist.  It maintains industry standards and keeps you up to date in your knowledge and education.  In short, it helps you stay at the forefront of both standards and learning in your profession.

In many ways ‘supervision’ is a misnomer. In old fashioned terms it implies surveillance and control. At CPHT it is anything but that. Supervision is all about providing help and support. And, like everything else you’ll experience at CPHT, it should be enjoyable.

During training students have the support and guidance of at least two very qualified lecturers. After graduation newly qualified practitioners will have access to what is unquestionably the best supervision support available.

CPHT listed supervisors will have trained with The Clifton Practice, will be successful in practice and will have studied for a recognised and respected supervision award in hypnotherapy.
